2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid driving beneath an overpass

Coming to Swope Nissan

The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid

Electric-motor response, standard dual-motor all-wheel drive and no plug required. Fuel up and keep moving.

A different kind of hybrid

Smooth electric driving without changing how you refuel.

In Rogue Hybrid, two electric motors drive the wheels. A gasoline engine generates the electricity, so there is no charging cable and no need to plan around charging stops.

Standard dual-motor AWDOne electric motor powers each axle.
No traditional transmissionElectric motors provide direct, immediate response.

How Nissan e-POWER works

The engine makes electricity. The motors move the Rogue.

Gasoline generator

The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine produces electricity instead of mechanically driving the wheels.

Battery and controls

Energy is managed between the generator, battery and regenerative braking system.

Dual electric motors

The front and rear motors deliver smooth acceleration and standard all-wheel drive.

FAQs

We Knew You’d Have Some Questions.

Straight answers on fuel economy, towing, family space and how Nissan’s e-POWER system fits everyday driving.

2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid driving on a winding road

Up to 1,500 lbs.Maximum trailer capacity when properly equipped.
Do I need to plug in the Rogue Hybrid?

No. The gasoline engine generates electricity for the battery, while the electric motors drive the wheels. You refuel it with regular unleaded gasoline at a gas station.

What is the Rogue Hybrid’s driving range?

Think fuel economy and a tank of gasoline, not an electric-only range. Nissan has not published one official miles-per-tank figure. The SR is targeted at up to 41 MPG city, 36 MPG highway and 38 MPG combined, and the fuel tank holds 14.0 gallons. Your actual distance between fill-ups will vary with speed, weather, terrain, passengers, cargo and driving style.

Are those MPG figures EPA ratings?

Not yet. Nissan describes 41 city, 36 highway and 38 combined MPG for the SR as targets based on internal testing. EPA estimates were not available when Nissan published the current specifications, so final ratings may differ.

Can the 2027 Rogue Hybrid tow?

Yes. Nissan lists a maximum trailer capacity of 1,500 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 150 pounds when properly equipped. The weight of passengers, cargo and accessories matters, so confirm the exact hitch equipment and limits for your vehicle before towing.

Will towing reduce fuel economy?

Yes. A trailer adds weight and aerodynamic drag, so expect lower fuel economy and less distance between fill-ups. Trailer size, load, speed, hills, wind and temperature all affect the result.

What actually drives the wheels?

The front and rear electric motors drive the wheels. The 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine works as a generator, producing electricity for the battery and motors.

Is all-wheel drive standard?

Yes. Nissan lists dual-motor all-wheel drive across the SV, SR and Platinum Rogue Hybrid lineup.

How much power does it make?

Nissan lists 225 horsepower of total system output, with immediate electric-motor response instead of waiting for a conventional transmission to shift.

Does it have a traditional transmission?

No. Nissan says the e-POWER system does not use a conventional transmission. The gasoline engine generates electricity while the motors provide propulsion.

How much cargo room does it have?

Nissan lists 31.1 cubic feet behind the second row and up to 65.9 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. It seats up to five, and rear doors that open nearly 90 degrees help with child seats and loading.

What screens and connected features are available?

A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard. An available 14.3-inch touchscreen adds Google built-in, and available features include a head-up display and Qi2 wireless charging.

What does e-Pedal with Smooth Stop do?

It lets the driver accelerate, slow down and come to a complete stop primarily by using the accelerator pedal. Always use the brake pedal when conditions require it.

How is the hybrid battery covered?

Nissan states that hybrid components include an eight-year or 100,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first. Ask Swope Nissan for the complete warranty booklet and exclusions.

When is the 2027 Rogue Hybrid expected?

SR with Technology Package is expected in limited quantities in November 2026. Nissan expects additional trims in January 2027. Timing and availability can change.
